Yunnan Bride
In the village in the middle of the tea plantation, we stumbled across a wedding. The bride, looking resplendent in a red dress, invited us to take photos and into the gathering that was being held in her honour. We asked after the groom but it transpired that he wouldn't arrive until later on in the day. Upon his arrival, the wedding ceremony would take place and they'd live in the bride's village together for one year before moving permanently to the groom's home town.

It's always cool when you inadvertently stumble upon something, such as the wedding. It's interesting learning about the different cultures and how they wed. I wonder if it was a big or small wedding? Did the bride send out wedding invitations or was it through word of mouth? Thanks for sharing!
