Rice Terraces Shrouded in Mist
We arrived at this location about an hour before sunrise, hoping to be mesmerised by the view as the sun rose over the mountains. Instead we were greeted with mist/fog/clouds rolling across the terraces. We thought we'd be disappointed but then saw the picture created by the mist...

My original plan for this blog was that I'd only post big articles and pictures of note, nothing too mundane. I didn't want to turn it into some sort of online diary because that would diminish the impact of what I was writing about, plus be pretty boring. I've spoken to a few people about this (both here and in Blighty) and they all say that just a smallish update is fine, so long as it's not something that could be done on Twitter.
