There were a handful of road signs placed on the route we took, obviously for the drivers benefit, but I found this one the most amusing. In the unlikely event that some mentally deficient person thought to drive their car on the desert, I don't think they would have made it this far. At this point, having been stuck for several days without food or water, they'd probably also realise themselves that cars really shouldn't be allowed to drive over the dunes. I say take the sign away and let natural selection weed out the people who are stupid enough to think that driving their car over the Gobi is a great way to get where they want to be.
