It feels as though there is at least one or two down every main road and side street. They'll set up a very basic shop anywhere, consisting of two baskets full with cherries, suspended from bamboo, which is used to carry the fruit. They'll scatter when they spot a Police officer approaching - they aren't allowed to sell on the street, but the second the officer is out of sight, they'll appear as if from the surroundings themselves to further peddle their goods.
