Yes, that's right, a liger. It's a cross between a tiger and a lion. No, I didn't know it was possible either. It has to be a male lion with a female tiger because if it were the other way around the male tiger, being bigger than the female lion by a considerable amount and a lot more fierce than the male lion, would tear the poor lion to shreds. It has to be kept away from the tiger enclosure because not being of sufficient size it would get molested in a fairly violent manner as soon as it set paw in the park.
