This is one of the more quiet streets around the Shinjuku area, but still brightly lit with bars signs, restaurant signs, sex shop signs, in fact any sign advertising anything can be found here. It's quite strange to think that this is actually one of the least busy and worst lit roads for about a five mile radius. We still got bumped and barged wherever we went, but as we were with a Japanese colleague of mine and he was taking us to an izakaya, we really didn't mind.
